Pumpkin Patch Scavenger Hunt
I love fall. The crisp, autumn air. Bonfires with flannel blankets in the backyard. Halloween costumes, warm apple cider and crunchy leaves are a few of my favorite things. One of my favorite fall traditions?
The pumpkin patch.
There are so many reasons to love going to the pumpkin patch - you can get lost in a corn maze, climb a mountain of straw and ride in a wagon pulled by a farm tractor. Wandering through rows and rows of pretty, plump pumpkins just gets the creative juices flowing.
Plus, it's a great excuse for a cozy flannel shirt and some super cute boots. (As if you needed an excuse!?)
Often, we go to the pumpkin patch and come home with a truck full of pumpkins. Some to carve, some to paint, some to sit on the porch and look pretty...and some that I just couldn't resist.
I mean, really, who can say no to those adorable, teensy little white pumpkins?!
In the past, when we've gone with kiddos to the patch, they have gotten distracted or bored. (How can you be bored?!) This year, I've created a Pumpkin Patch Scavenger hunt to take your visit to the next level. It's a fun way to make sure you get the most out of your experience. Plus, if you get a prize at the end, even the older kids will get excited!
What do you do with your pumpkins in the fall?
