Save Money with Grocery Lists

Today is Thursday. Do you know what that means? It's grocery shopping day!

I love grocery shopping day.

I know, it's super nerdy, but I love putting together my shopping list and comparing all of the sale prices. And I love the feeling I get when I know I'm getting a great deal. Plus, there's 99 cent cups of delicious, organic coffee at the store...and I love coffee.

I spend lots of time getting my grocery list just right and it's one of my favorite tools for making an everyday (sometimes frustrating) chore a little more enjoyable. Plus, I feel so productive when I'm able to cross things off a list.

As I do my shopping, I update a price list for all of the pantry goods. This allows me to have a database of prices for budgeting our groceries each week. It also makes it easy to compare sale prices and see how much I'm really saving.

On top of that, I buy meat and produce that's on sale, so I add those sale items to my list as well.

It sounds complicated, doesn't it?

It's not - and just to prove it to you, I'm giving you a free download of my shopping list template. Here's how it works:

I'd love to hear your thoughts and see what kind of tools you use for your grocery budgets!
